The ‘Program Juara Rakyat 2010” was officiated by the Chief Minister of Sabah, YAB Datuk Seri Musa Hj Aman in conjunction to the showcase of Titingan New Township project.

The project envisioned to transform an existing Kg. Titingan Tawau, Sabah, to be developed from the present ‘eye-sore’ squatter slump into an orderly, modern township with a Balance Living Concept. The total acreage is approximately 300 acres.

This project was approved by the cabinet of Sabah in 2007. Now it has been ear-marked as one of the signature projects under the Sabah Development Corridor (SDC). This project is undertaken as a joint venture between Akar Budi Tuah Sdn Bhd (The Developer) and Sabah Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO), a government agency under the Ministry of Industrial Development (Land Custodian).

The project has 10 main components namely ;
1. Centralized Commercial & Office Center,
2. Residential Titingan Vilage, Homes & Souk,
3. Youth Extreme Sports Center, Recreational Tawau Wet World
4. Education Center & Branch University,
5. Five Star Hotel & Budgeted Hotel,
6. Integrated Medical Center,
7. Titingan Seafront Foodcourt, Cultural Village and Fisherman’s Wharf,
8. Marina Yacht & Water Resort.
9. Condomenium Apartments and
10. City Hall Administrative Center.
